Apple shocked the world when it revealed iPhone X back in 2017. This was the first smartphone to ship with a full-screen and display top-notch design. iPhone X was a massive success and other tech companies started replicating the top-notch design, Google included.

On the other hand, Samsung was the only major tech company that didn’t want to replicate the design and instead it developed its own punch-hole design. Well, it looks like Samsung is not going to be the first tech company to use this design on its flagship smartphone because Huawei is one step ahead.

Introducing Honor View 20

Even though Samsung was the first one to announce the punch-hole design, Huawei moved fast and it revealed Honor View 20. This is going to be the world’s first smartphone to ship with an all-screen design that doesn’t require a display top-notch. Not just that, but Honor View 20 is also packed with premium hardware specs that place it in the flagship category. With that being said, let’s check out what Honor View 20 has to offer.

48MP Sony IMX586 Camera

Leaving the spectacular design aside, the feature that is going to make Honor View 20 a bestselling smartphone is its 48MP Sony IMX586 camera. This makes Huawei’s new flagship smartphone the first handheld device to ship with a punch-hole design and a 48MP shooter.

To make things even better, the 48MP camera features a 0.8-micron pixel size and the Quad Bayer array uses a new process dubbed “pixel binning” in order to take higher quality pictures in the low-light environments.

High-End Smartphone

From the looks of it, Honor View 20 is a high-end smartphone that will also ship with a hefty price tag. Even though Huawei has yet to announce how much the new smartphone will cost, we think it’s safe to assume that it will go over $1,000.
