The Mobile World Congress event or MWC for short is just around the corner and all smartphone fans should be excited for it! The world’s biggest tech companies are going to hold panels during MWC and they will reveal their highly anticipated flagship smartphones. One of the companies that are planning to take the MWC event by storm is LG which is scheduled to reveal the highly anticipated LG G8 ThinQ.
Introducing: LG G8 ThinQ
LG G8 ThinQ is the next-generation flagship smartphone from LG and fortunately, we don’t have to wait until February 20th for the MWC event to kick off because the ever-reliable leakster Evan Blass has posted the official press render of LG G8 ThinQ. The leaked press render shows off LG G8 ThinQ from all sides and it also highlights some features that the smartphone will have to offer.
Full-Screen Display
The first thing that stands out when looking at the leaked press render of LG G8 ThinQ is that the smartphone will ship with a full-screen display that uses a top-notch. This design trend was introduced back in 2017 by Apple’s iPhone X and from the looks of it, LG is making sure that the top-notch doesn’t fall out of trend in 2019.
Facial Recognition
As we can clearly see in the leaked press render, LG G8 ThinQ will not feature a fingerprint scanner mounted on the rear side or beneath the display and instead, LG G8 ThinQ will ship with a three-lens front facing camera that can be used for facial recognition.
Vibrating Screen
One of the most interesting rumors surrounding LG G8 ThinQ is saying that the smartphone’s screen will vibrate in order to produce sound. Not just that, but LG G8 ThinQ will ship with a special case attachment which will act as a second screen.
