Motorola had a good run in 2018 and it’s looking to do the same in 2019. Even though Motorola’s smartphones might be able to compete directly against the likes of iPhone XS Max and Galaxy Note 9, they are still bestselling products because they cater to a different market. Not everyone can afford to pay $1,000 for a smartphone and here is where Motorola’s affordable smartphones come in and save the day.
New Moto G7 Series
With that said, Motorola has announced that it plans to take the European market by storm in 2019 by launching multiple versions of Moto G7. The versions Moto G7 are as it follows: Play, Power, Black, White, Red and Blue. What Motorola didn’t say is that there will be a price difference between these smartphones, but we got lucky and the official prices for the new Moto G7 smartphones have been leaked.
Leaked Prices and Models
- Moto G7 Play (Gold and Blue colors) – 149 Euros;
- Moto G7 Power (Black and Lilac Purple colors) – 209 Euros;
- Moto G7 (Black and White colors) – price unknown;

Now that we talked about all the upcoming Moto G7 versions, let’s take a look at what sits under the hood of the cheapest model. Moto G7 Play is going to be the standard mid-range smartphone of Motorola in 2019 and it will feature a 6.0-inches display that uses IPS LCD technology. The display offers a pixel resolution of 1080 x 2340 and a pixel density of 403ppi.
When it comes to hardware power, we got lucky again and Moto G7 Play was spotted on GeekBench running with a Snapdragon 625 CPU under its hood. The CPU scored 4,759 points in the multi-core test on GeekBench which is quite impressive.
