It’s a great time to be an Apple fan! The Cupertino based tech giant unveiled a bunch of new devices yesterday including the highly anticipated iPad Pro 2018 refreshed model, but that’s not all. Apple also started rolling out a bunch of major operating system updates to its devices and this is making Apple fans excited because they get access to a bunch of new features and software optimization tweaks.

On the downside of things, getting new operating system updates is not always a good thing. Apple can sometimes make some mistakes while writing the code for the update and this causes the devices to brick and enter a never-ending boot loop. Unfortunately, this is exactly what’s happening right now with the newly released watchOS 5.1.

watchOS 5.1 Software Bug

Watch Series 4 is the best smartwatch that Apple has ever designed, but the device still comes with its fair share of issues. Apple released watchOS 5.1 today and user reports are showing that the operating system update is bricking Watch Series 4.

The fact that Apple’s new watchOS 5.1 update is bricking the Watch Series 4 smartwatch is a big problem because it renders the device useless. Not just that, but considering how all Apple fans are exciting about operating system updates, we can be sure that many people are going to download watchOS 5.1 without checking the internet to see if there’s something wrong with it.

Apple Has Yet to Respond

Even though the watchOS 5.1 issue is already widespread, Apple has yet to release as a response. We believe that the Cupertino based tech giant is currently working on an OTA (over the air) bug fix that gets rid of this issue and that Apple will release a statement only once the update starts rolling out.
