Pokemon Go is one of the most popular mobile games ever made. This title combines the fantasy of catching Pokemon in real-life with AR (augmented reality) technology and this is why it managed to get the entire world out on the streets when it first launched.

Fortunately, the game’s quality has not dwindled over time and the developers keep introducing new features and Pokemon that give both veterans and new players a reason to keep playing the game.

Niantic Reveals Generation 4 Pokemon from Sinnoh

The reason why Pokemon Go is making headlines today is because Niantic has just announced the fourth Generation of Pokemon that are going to arrive in the game. The new Pokemon will all come from the Diamon and Pearl versions of the Nintendo DS game and they originate from Sinnoh.

Video Teaser

The cool thing about Niantic’s big announcement is that it also released a short video where the shadows of new Pokemon could be seen. From the looks of it, Pokemon Go fans will be able to catch never-seen-before Pokemon such as Chimchar, Turtwig, Piplup and the legendary Giratina. Anyone who wants to check out the short trailer can find it below.

Major Balance Changes

The highly popular mobile game is not only going to receive a bunch of new Pokemon. Niantic also announced in a blog post that Pokemon Go will receive a handful of balance changes that will improve the gameplay experience Pokemon Go offers while making the game more immersive at the same time.

For example, certain areas such as parks and nature reserves will have a wider range of Pokemon that spawn there. In addition, CP and HP values are being changed so that the game’s overall balance is improved. Unfortunately, Niantic has yet to announce when the new update is going to arrive.
