Nintendo fans were expecting the company to launch the highly anticipated Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on Thanksgiving Day, but unfortunately, this didn’t happen. The game was pushed back to December 7th. However, this doesn’t necessarily mean that Nintendo fans need to wait until December 7th in order to see what the new game looks like because a bunch of YouTubers have somehow managed to get their hands on the game and they are uploading videos on YouTube.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Gets Pirated on YouTube

As we previously mentioned, a bunch of YouTubers have somehow managed to download the game weeks before its scheduled to launch. YouTube is now filled with videos of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Nintendo is not having any of this. In fact, Nintendo has started targeting these YouTubers and it’s doing everything it can to take down their channels.

Nintendo Targets YouTubers

“I have also been copyright striked and the Dystifyzer YouTube channel will be deleted in 7 days. I knew the risks when uploading a soundtrack 2 weeks early, but I didn’t want to be left behind other uploaders. Tough luck” said Dystifyzer who is one of the YouTubers that posted content from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Numerous reports are showing that Nintendo is pulling all the strings it has at YouTube headquarters in order to delete the channels of YouTubers who posted content from the not-yet-released game. Not just that, but Nintendo is threatening these YouTubers with multiple DMCAs and legal threats so that they remove the videos as soon as possible.

December 7th Launch Date

On the other hand, the fact that YouTubers have started uploading footage from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate doesn’t affect the fans of the game at all. The game is still scheduled to launch on December 7th and this is not going to change.
