The highly innovative Nintendo Labo VR Kit is coming later this month and from the looks of it, Nintendo wants to make sure that its fans will have lots of fun with the new product. The reason why we are saying that is because Nintendo has announced earlier today that Super Mario Odyssey and Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be available in VR starting April 25th. This is two weeks after Nintendo Labo VR Kit launches.

Super Mario Odyssey and Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild in VR

The first thing that we want to mention about Nintendo’s latest news is that Super Mario Odyssey and Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild are going to be the company’s first ever VR games. This shows us that Nintendo believes that VR technology is the future of gaming and that it doesn’t want to be left behind the likes of Sony which has already launched PlayStation VR.

Nonetheless, the two games are going to receive a full VR-mode on April 25th and the best thing about this is that the VR mode is entirely free. Yes, you read that right! Nintendo is proving once again that it cares about its fans and it doesn’t want to charge anything for the full-VR mode for two of its most popular games.

Three New Odyssey Levels

As if getting a full-VR mode for Super Mario Odyssey wasn’t amazing enough, Nintendo announced that Super Mario Odyssey is going to receive three newly designed levels. Players who use the Nintendo Labo VR Kit will get to play the game from a third-person perspective that they can switch just by rotating their head. On the downside of things, Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is not going to receive any new VR content
