We have some great news to share with TubeMate today! A new update for the highly popular video downloader has recently started rolling out and it changes TubeMate’s build number to v3 3.2.6.
This is a high priority release and we are advising all TubeMate to make sure to keep their smartphones connected to Wi-Fi in order to download it as soon as it pops up in their notification panel.
APK Release
We also want to mention that the developers of TubeMate have also released the new update in the form of APK. This is a special type of update format and it stands for “Android Package Kit”, therefore being exclusive for Android-powered devices.
On the other hand, installing APK releases can be quite tricky and if you are unfamiliar with the process, then you don’t need to worry about it since we are going to provide everyone with a couple of guidelines.
Installation Guidelines
The first thing that everyone needs to know about APK releases is that all users need to manually download them. There is no way around this. The second thing is that APK releases can only be installed on Android-powered devices that have the “Unknown Sources” option enabled.
Luckily, enabling this option doesn’t take longer than a couple of seconds since it can be found in the “Settings” panel of all versions of the Android operating system, including the latest Android 9.0 Pie.
