While Huawei and Samsung are competing against each other trying to design a better “punch-hole” all-screen display, Vivo is taking things to the next level. The reason we are saying this is because Vivo has revealed today a smartphone that ships with a design that is so innovative that it puts the likes of iPhone XS to shame. The smartphone we are talking about is called Vivo NEX Dual Display and as its name implies, the smartphone ships with two displays.
Vivo NEX Dual Display
This is one of the most innovative smartphones to launch in 2019 and it features a 6.39-inches main screen and a secondary 5.49-inches display that is mounted on the rear side. To make things even better, the smartphone also features a triple-camera setup and the whopping amount of 10GB RAM.
NEX Dual Display is a smartphone that targets a large market and the market is people who like taking selfies. The rear mounted display makes it possible for people to take selfies with the three camera-setup that features a 12MP lens with f/1.79 aperture, a 2MP lens with “Night Video Mode” and a Time of Flight 3D Camera.
“Mirror Mode allows users to see themselves in the rear display while being photographed or filmed, while Pose Director can show a posed image or video in the rear display as a reference for imitation,” said Vivo about the new modes that NEX Dual Display will ship with.
Under the Hood
As we previously mentioned, NEX Dual Display is going to feature 10GB of RAM. However, the most powerful piece of hardware that NEX Dual Display will have to offer is its Snapdragon 845 processor. The processor is paired to a 3,500 mAh battery that features 22.5W fast charging.
