Xiaomi has been keeping busy this past couple of days. The reason why we are saying this is because a recent TENAA report is showing that the Chinese based tech giant is currently adding the finishing touches to its next-generation Redmi 7 Pro. Even though we don’t know the official launch date for the upcoming smartphone, the TENAA report did show us the full list of specs that Redmi 7 Pro will have to offer which leads us to believe that the smartphone will hit the markets in early 2019.

Redmi 7 Pro TENAA Report

For those who are unfamiliar with TENAA, this works basically just like the FCC. Therefore, all Chinese tech companies who want to launch a new smartphone in China need to get the device approved by TENAA first. The great thing about TENAA reports is that they are public and that they include important information about the smartphones that are getting certified such as their measurements, display technology and under the hood specs. With that being said, let’s check out everything that Redmi 7 Pro will have to offer on launch day.

Display Technology

The TENAA report shows that Redmi 7 Pro will be equipped with a 5.85-inches display that uses full-HD+ technology which offers a 1080 x 2280-pixel resolution. Furthermore, the smartphone will run on Google’s Android 8.1 Oreo operating system that is based on Xiaomi’s own MIUI 10. Leaving the operating system aside, let’s take a look under Redmi 7 Pro’s hood.

Under the Hood

According to the TENAA report, Redmi 7 Pro will be fueled by a 2.3GHz octa-core processor. The processor is also going to paired with 3GB, 4GB or 6GB of RAM, depending on the acquired model. Not just that, but Redmi 7 Pro will also feature 32GB, 64GB and 128GB of internal storage space that goes up to 256GB via microSD.
