Chinese tech manufacturers used to have a difficult time launching their products on the US and European market, but things have changed and companies such as Huawei and OnePlus are dominating the tech industry all over the world. ZTE is also a prominent Chinese tech manufacturer and what sets ZTE apart from its competition is the fact that this company somehow manages to create high-end smartphones that are equipped with powerful hardware specs and affordable price. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that ZTE’s next-gen Axon V is one of the most highly anticipated smartphones of 2019.

ZTE Axon V Gets Leaked

Even though ZTE has yet to make any official announcements when it comes to the hardware specs, design and features of ZTE Axon V, we got lucky and the smartphone’s press renders have been leaked on the web earlier today. With that said, let’s take a better look at these leaked press renders and see what we can take from them.

3D Camera

The smartphone sports a full-screen design that looks amazing. However, the design feature that stands out the most is the large bulge located on the right of the display which is rumored to measure in at 6.8-inches and to use OLED technology.

Nonetheless, the large bulge is said to house a 3D camera that features two sensors which are vertically aligned. The interesting thing about this bulge is that it’s not some kind of mechanism that works like pop-out cameras do and it is actually part of the frame.

Final Words

Even though ZTE is taking a big risk by equipping its next-gen flagship smartphone with a 3D camera bulge, we have to give credit to the Chinese tech manufacturer for willing to risk it all and for not following the trend started by Apple with the display top-notch.
