Google held its I/O 2019 event earlier this day where it announced lots of exciting news such as the fact that a pure Android foldable smartphone is being developed right now. This is not the only that Google announced during the event. The biggest news that the Android parent revealed is that Android Q beta 3 is now available for all beta testers.

This is great news for Android fans who are willing to join the beta program because they will be the first ones to access all the features that Google’s upcoming operating system update is going to introduce.

Eligible Smartphones

Obviously, Google’s Pixel smartphones are going to be the first ones to receive Android Q beta 3, but which other smartphones are eligible to receive the new update? Well, this is the question that we are going to answer today by listing all the smartphones which can install the latest version of Android Q.

Huawei Mate 20 Pro, LG G8 ThinQ, OnePlus 6T, Xiaomi Mi 9, Xiaomi Mi Mix 5G, Google Pixel 3, Google Pixel 3XL, Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL and even the Essential Phone.

Galaxy S10 is Not On The List

If we take a look at the small list of smartphones that are eligible to install Android Q beta 3, we are going to see that Samsung’s latest Galaxy S10 is not featured there. However, this shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone since Samsung and Google are competitors and Google doesn’t want to give Samsung an inch of advantage. In addition, Samsung was also absent from last year’s Android P beta testing process.

On the bright side of things, we can be sure that Samsung is going to work closely with Google in order to make sure that all Galaxy S10 users receive the new Android operating system as soon as the final build is available.
