We reported yesterday that Puma has launched a new sports smartwatch that is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear 3100 CPU. Well, it looks like Puma is not the only clothing company that is interested in taking the smartwatch industry by storm. The reason why we are saying that is because Diesel and Emporio Armani have launched their own smartwatches as well during the IFA 2019 Berlin event which takes place today. With that said, let’s go ahead and check out everything there is to know about the new smartwatches.
Emporio Armani Smartwatch
Emporio Armani is one of the world’s most famous clothing company and it’s renowned for launching super-expensive items. Emporio Armani has now decided to venture into the tech world and it’s doing it with a new smartwatch that is powered by the Snapdragon Wear 3100 CPU.
The smartwatch features an Extended Battery Mode and lots of other cool features such as heart rate monitoring, message notifications, GPS tracking and so on. More importantly, the smartwatch from Emporio Armani is equipped with a sleek looking design that.
The Diesel smartwatch is also powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear 3100 and while it might feature a cool design, it looks a bit more “sporty” in comparison with the one launched by Emporio Armani.
Nonetheless, this smartwatch is running on Wear OS and it will also feature all the basic smartwatch features such as heart rate tracking, GPS and more. Even though Emporio Armani has yet to announce the official pricing for its smartwatch, Diesel revealed that its own smartwatch will be priced at $350.
It’s great to see that more and more companies are starting to get interested in the smartwatch industry. After all, the fans are the ones who benefit from the competition the most since companies will need to keep launching powerful devices if they want to keep competing.
