Galaxy S10 is scheduled to launch on 20th February and the internet is buzzing with rumors and speculations about the next-generation Samsung flagship. However, Galaxy S10 is not the only smartphone that Samsung is planning to launch during the MWC (Mobile World Congress) event. The South Korean based tech giant is going to launch Galaxy S10 + and Galaxy S10E.

This is the first time that a Galaxy S smartphone uses the “E” branding and the interesting thing about Galaxy S10E is that Samsung is doing its best no to release any information about it before the MWC event. Luckily for us, in typical Samsung fashion, a press render of Galaxy S10E has been leaked on the web.

Galaxy S10E Leaked Press Render

The first thing that we want to note about new newly leaked Galaxy S10E press render is that it appeared on the German publication Winfuture. The folks at Winfuture are known for somehow always managing to get their hands on pictures of unreleased smartphones and Galaxy S10Eis their latest target.

Punch Hole Design

The leaked press render shows us that Galaxy S10E will feature a punch hole display. This is the same design that Samsung is expected to use on Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10E +. Leaving the innovative design aside, there is something more important that we can spot in the leaked press render.

Fingerprint Scanner in the Power Button

The most interesting feature that can be spotted in the leaked Galaxy S10E press render is that the rear mounted power button is going to act as a fingerprint scanner as well. This feature is quite surprising because Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 + will feature an in-display fingerprint scanner. This leads us to believe that Galaxy S10E will be a cheaper variant of Galaxy S10 that will ship with downgraded specs.
