If you would have told a person 30 years ago that you need a portable device to check out the surroundings from the nearest town, they would probably call you a nut case. But nowadays, most of us can’t start the car without opening a navigation app such as Waze or Google Maps. Both apps are owned by Google.
While we don’t want to blame either one of the two sides, one thing’s for sure: navigation apps are extremely useful. But they wouldn’t be useful anymore without getting regular updates. That’s because our surroundings always change.
Google Maps 11.48.0803 APK is now available
Google has now provided the 11.48.0803 update for its Google Maps app, one that brings improvements so that the user can “discover new places and navigate to them.” Bug fixes are also included in the update, and that’s all the change log tells us.
The new update for Google Maps is available in either a simple APK file or an APK bundle. You can choose the download variant that you find more suitable for your needs. Regardless of what you choose, your phone needs to be running on at least Android 6.
Here’s a description for Google Maps coming from Apple’s App Store:
“Navigate your world faster and easier with Google Maps. Over 220 countries and territories mapped and hundreds of millions of businesses and places on the map. Get real-time GPS navigation, traffic, and transit info, and find what you need by getting the latest information on businesses, including grocery stores, pharmacies and other important places.”
It’s been just about a week after our publication spoke about another update for Google Maps: the 11.48.0800 beta, which was also available as an APK.
Traveling becomes light-years easier when you use Google Maps!
