Motorola is a great company that excels at everything it does. However, there is one thing that Motorola has never been able to do and that is to keep a secret. Since Motorola is such a large company, keeping information hidden away from the media’s eyes is nearly impossible because everything gets leaked. On the other hand, this is great for smartphone enthusiasts like us because it means that we don’t have to wait for Motorola to be ready in order to announce its upcoming products.

Moto G7 Has Been Spotted At The FCC

Nonetheless, Motorola is making headlines today because its next-generation Moto G7 Play has been spotted in an FFC listing. For those who are unfamiliar with the FCC, every tech company that plans to launch a smartphone in the US tech market is required to get the device certified by the FCC first. Therefore, we believe that Moto G7 Play will hit the markets in the upcoming months.

Leaked Features

The great thing about FCC reports is the fact that they include information about the features, hardware specs and the design that the devices which are being certified will feature. With that said, Moto G7 Play will ship with a fingerprint reader, display top-notch and a Snapdragon 632 processor. This is a big upgrade in the hardware power department because Moto G6 Play is fueled by the not-so-impressive Snapdragon 450 processor.

The smartphone will also feature a 2,280 mAh battery and microSD support. Not just that, but Moto G7 Play will feature dual-SIM support and it will feature a single selfie camera. These features are great and they prove to us that Moto G7 Play will be a mid-range smartphone that will more than likely feature an affordable price tag so that it can compete against the premium smartphones that Samsung and Huawei have launched during the last months.
