Motorola is making some big moves this month. Samsung is going to announce its next-gen Galaxy S10 on February 20th during the MWC event and Motorola wants to outshine Samsung by launching a couple of its own smartphones. We reported earlier today that Moto G7 Power is going to launch tomorrow and that it will feature a massive 5,000 mAh battery, but now, we got lucky and the hardware specs of Moto Z4 Play got leaked.

Moto Z4 Play Gets Leaked

Moto Z4 is expected to be announced somewhere this month, maybe even tomorrow alongside Moto G7 Power. However, Motorola has been doing its best to keep all details about Moto Z4 Play’s hardware specs hidden away from the media’s eyes. Fortunately for us and other smartphone fans, Moto Z4 Play’s most important specs have been leaked today.

Impressive Specs

With that said, Moto Z4 Play is going to be powered by an SM6150 CPU (Snapdragon 675) which will be paired with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage space. The smartphone will probably also feature microSD support since nearly all Motorola-made smartphones.

In-Display Fingerprint Scanner

The new Motorola smartphone will also ship with a top-notch display that uses AMOLED technology. However, this is not the only special thing about Moto Z4 Play’s display. The smartphone will also feature an in-display fingerprint scanner.

48MP Primary Camera

Smartphones are becoming more camera-centric with each year and therefore, it shouldn’t come as a shock that Moto Z4 Play is going to feature a massive 48MP primary camera.

According to the new Moto Z4 Play leak, the 48MP camera will use a special Sony sensor that utilizes Q Technology. This means that the primary camera of Moto Z4 Play will be able to snap impressive pictures in low-light conditions.
