A brand-new leak that comes from “OnLeaks” reveals that Motorola is currently adding the finishing touches to its next-generation flagship smartphone that will launch in 2019. The smartphone is called Motorola P40 and unlike its successor Motorola P30 which didn’t launch on the global markets, Motorola P40 is expected to be available for purchase in all shops around the world. Nonetheless, today we are going to take a closer look at the leaked press render of Motorola P40 and all other leaked details about the next-generation Motorola flagship.

Leaked Press Render

Right from the start, the first thing that we need to mention about Motorola P40 is that it will feature a punch-hole display. This innovative design has been introduced two months ago when press render leaks of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S10 surfaced on the web. From the looks of it, Motorola wants to be one step ahead of Samsung since Galaxy S10 is going to launch somewhere in February.

Motorola P40 will feature a selfie camera in the punch-hole display which will measure in at 6.2-inches. The great thing about this punch-hole design is the fact that it offers more screen “real estate” space than Apple’s top-notch does.

Key Features

The features that we can spot after looking at the leaked press render of Motorola P40 are a SIM tray on the left edge, Volume and Power buttons on the right side and a USB Type-C port on the bottom alongside with a speaker grille and microphone hole.

The best feature that can spotted in the leaked press render is the 3.5mm auxiliary jack that will be mounted on the top edge. We should also mention that previous leaks have shown that Motorola P40 will ship with a 48MP primary camera that will be mounted on the back, next to the fingerprint scanner.
