Chinese tech companies are taking over the smartphone industry and Oppo is leading the way! Oppo keeps launching high-end devices that are paired with affordable prices and this gives them the upper hand over the likes of Galaxy Note 9. However, the best thing about this Chinese based tech company is the fact that it never takes a day off and it keeps working on new smartphones in secret.

Oppo K1 GeekBench Leak

Rumor has it that Oppo is currently designing a new flagship smartphone called K1 and the rumor has just been confirmed because Oppo K1 made an appearance on the famous GeekBench website.

For those unfamiliar with GeekBench, this is a website that tech companies love to use in order to test the performances of their not-yet-released devices and the best thing about GeekBench is that every test is public.

Performance Results

The first thing we need to mention about the upcoming Oppo K1 is that it’s expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor. Furthermore, the mobile CPU is paired with an Adreno 512 graphics processing unit and 4GB or 6GB of RAM. Therefore, no one should be shocked to find out that Oppo K1 scored 1,436 points in the single-core test and a whopping 5,467 points in the multi-core test.

Affordable Price tag

Even though the performance test results might not make it seem like Oppo K1 is going to be a powerhouse, we have to mention that Oppo K1 is more than surely going to feature an affordable price tag. Therefore, Oppo needed to compromise on some hardware specs that could’ve enhanced the smartphone’s performances in order to lower the price.

From that we can tell, Oppo K1 is shaping up to be a great smartphone that will become a popular choice for people who are not willing to spend too much money on a smartphone.
