The biggest advantage that PlayStation 4 has over Xbox One is the high number of AAA exclusive titles that it receives. Sony has been doing a great job of getting game developers to create premium games such as God of War 3 and to release them exclusively for PlayStation 4. This has greatly boosted the popularity of PlayStation 4 in the last couple of years and Xbox One is struggling to keep up.

Nonetheless, Days Gone is one of the most highly anticipated PlayStation 4 games of the year and sadly, the game has been delayed. This information was confirmed directly by Asad Qizilbash who is the Vice President of Marketing at Sony Interactive Entertainment America.

Days Gone Has Been Delayed

“We want to share a change in release date for this highly anticipated title from Bend Studio. We recently decided to move the release of Days Gone from the crowded February timeframe to April 26, 2019. While the studio is eager to see Days Gone in the hands of fans, Bend Studio will take the opportunity to further polish Days Gone,” wrote Asad Qizilbash on the official PlayStation blog post.

Fans are Devastated

Days Gone features a really cool story where gamers get to play as a biker named Deacon St. John who is also a bounty hunter. The catch is that Deacon St. John lives in a post-apocalyptic America and the country is infested by zombies called “Freakers”.

The Freakers run in hordes and this makes it difficult for Deacon St. John to travel and finish his missions, something which PlayStation 4 gamers all over the world were waiting to do.

With that said, it should come as no surprise that PlayStation 4 fans are devasted to hear that Days Gone has been delayed, but its always better to receive a good game than a rushed game.
