Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla Inc., is slated to join Twitter’s board of directors, according to the latest development. Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal declared on Tuesday that Elon Musk would be a valuable addition to the company’s board of directors. Agrawal posted a message on Twitter, announcing that “I’m excited to share that we’re appointing @elonmusk to our board! Through conversations with Elon in recent weeks, it became clear to us that he would bring great value to our Board,”  One of t he richest men on the planet, Elon Musk, also said he’s hoping to make big changes to Twitter in the near future.

That Musk bought a hefty 9.2 percent interest in Twitter Inc. on April 4 makes him the company’s largest non-executive stakeholder. When the billionaire slammed Twitter for conceding on free expression and hinted at his own social media, this happened only weeks after. By not denying access to Russian media sites on the Starlink satellite system, claiming free speech as the justification, Elon Musk has established himself as a staunch advocate of basic rights like free speech.

Multi-billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk also tweeted on Monday, April 4, asking his followers to vote on whether or not they wanted a “edit button” on the Twitter app.

Jack Dorsey, the former CEO of Twitter, has responded to Elon Musk’s recent nomination to the company’s board of directors. A tweet from Dorsey after the news stated his delight at the decision and echoed Musk’s worry for the future of humanity.
The CEO of the microblogging site, Parag Agarwal, said today that Musk is now a board member of directors, and in response to that announcement, Jack Dorsey responded. Agarwal said that he had several chats with the billionaire in the previous two weeks and that the latter would be of tremendous benefit.
