We reported earlier today that Huawei’s next-generation flagship smartphone called Nova 4 has been spotted on GeekBench and that it’s going to be revealed soon. Well, it looks like we were right because Huawei has decided to officially announce that Nova 4 is going to hit the markets soon and that it will be priced at $490 for the premium model and $450 for the cheaper variant.

With that being said, let’s check out everything that Huawei revealed about Nova 4 and get an idea of what the smartphone’s performances and features are capable of.

Huawei Announces Nova 4

The feature that stands out the most about Nova 4 is the fact that it ships with a punch-hole display. Samsung was expected to be the first tech giant to introduce this style of smartphone design, but it looks like Huawei is one step ahead.

Nonetheless, Nova 4 looks great and to make things even better, the punch-hole display measures in at 6.4-inches and it features a pixel resolution of 2310 x 1080.

Under the Hood

Since Nova 4 will hold the title of being a flagship smartphone, no one should be surprised to find out that Huawei has equipped it with its most powerful octa-core Kirin 970 processor. We should mention that this processor can also be seen on Huawei View 10 and Huawei P20 Pro. The processor is going to be paired with 128GB of internal storage space, 8GB of RAM and a massive 3,750 mAh battery that charges at 18W via USB-C.

Impressive Camera Specs

The most impressive feature that Nova 4 has to offer is without a doubt the 48-megapixel primary cameras that are mounted on the rear side. As if this wasn’t impressive enough, Huawei has also made sure to equip Nova 4 with a 25-megapixel selfie shooter that is mounted in the display’s punch-hole.
