Nokia 9 PureView was announced a couple of days ago and now, HMD Global decided to reveal that the smartphone is going to be made available for purchase sooner than expected. HMD Global announced today that Nokia 9 PureView will start selling on March 3rd (this Sunday) for $599.

The smartphone will be $100 cheaper until March 10th when its price tag will go up to $699. With that said, let’s check out which are the features that make Nokia 9 PureView stand out from the other flagship smartphones that have been announced during the MWC event.

Introducing: Nokia 9 PureView

First off, we have to mention that this is a flagship smartphone. This matters that HMD Global has equipped Nokia 9 PureView with the best hardware parts available on the market and therefore, no one should be shocked to find out that the smartphone is fueled by Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 845 CPU.

The mobile processor clocks at 2.8GHz Kyro 385 and it ships alongside an Adreno 630 graphics processing unit. Furthermore, Nokia 9 PureView was spotted on GeekBench where the smartphone scored 8,793 points in the multi-core test and 2,269 in the single-core test.

Five Camera-Setup

Leaving the internal hardware parts aside, the feature that makes Nokia 9 PureView stand out the most is its five camera-setup. This is the world’s first mainstream smartphone to ship with a five camera-setup and the what’s impressive about the setup is the fact that all cameras are made by Zeiss.

The cameras are placed in a ring position and three of them feature 12MP monochrome lenses while two feature 12MP RGB cameras. All lenses have an aperture of /f1.8, 28mm. To top it all off, HMD Global has also made sure to equip the cameras with ToF (time of flight) technology and a LED flash.
